Our #BostonRedline85 awareness campaign is the result of over 2 years of research that started on River St, Hyde Park when a Burger King Restaurant operated by Northeast Foods (who settled the state of Massachusetts in 2017 for 248 child labor law violations) opened a restaurant directly across the street from the Boston Prep Charter School. This research paper was written to give guidance to multicultural communities looking for a ‘roadmap’ to resist the effects of ‘Redlining’ & ‘Gentrification’.
